How to make a palm hat, in two parts. (No audio, but hypnotizing video.)

The first time I tried to make that hat, I apparently measured my own head wrong, or I somehow shortened the band while I was weaving the fronds. A lot of work for something I couldn't wear, and I've never tried again.

oh man that was AWESOME!!!!! I can just imagine the callouses on their hands... rough enough to withstand getting cut by the fronds, doing this day and day on.

I'd like to make hats.

I think I'd like it even more than to train this guy to train tourists to make their own hats.
