I saw this awhile ago, and it's actually quite a bit more entertaining that I expected it to be.

I love the voice they gave Jim Harbaugh. He is such a whiner that this could actually be the correct words.

Glad to see Tom Brady found Fido!! We can mark that AskMe question resolved.

"An orange peanut? For me?"

Anything for you, Adrian. We love you.

The "finger time" gag could have been a rejected element from a Laurel and Hardy bit.

So that's what all those guys are talking about during those enormous stretches of time that aren't the eleven minutes of play.

Oh god, floor bags.

I suspect some of those might actually be accurate, like "what's wrong with him?" or even "help me burn that old man."

My wife and I watch this clip, then went through their other videos and watched past highlights. Eye of the Sparrow from the first 2012 presidential debates was good, but Michael Bublé's Russian Unicorn is gold, in part because they turned this mid-tempo crooner into an up-tempo dance tune, when that was clearly what the video needed in the first place.

I've been a fan of Bad Lip Reading for a while. Eye of the Sparrow still makes me chuckle.

Oh.. nefie music videos have gone upmarket in the last 30 years I see.

(they are all pretty funny though)

Normally I like this shit, but this video loses major points with me for including Josh Brent.

re: 11 minutes of play. it's always obvious that those sorts of numbers are collected by people who don't like football. that "standing at the line of scrimmage" (really, mostly holding their body in unnatural positions without moving a muscle looking only for a sign the ball has been snapped) thing is one of the tensest/best moments of the game.

oh, and i love this video. in our house we watch it multiple times a day since it came out.

Nadawi, I'm TOTALLY WITH YOU. The getting nervous between plays is (as a fan) my absolute favorite part of the game. (Well apart from when Joe Flacco launches a 70-yard bomb to Jacoby Jones to tie the game with 30 seconds left but yeah.)

Include that and it'd probably bump up the count to 13 minutes. That still leaves well over an hour of standing around doing fuck all.

Bad Lip Reading is genius. The writers have a splendid eye/ear for the absurd and for comic juxtapositions.

I'VE GOT A PORCUPINE CALLED ZAZOOM, HE LEAVES HIS SCENT ON PEOPLE'S GRAVES

I've never seen that one. My day has been made and I love the internet again.

My first encounter with this sort of thing was Day Job Orchestra's masterpiece Happy In Paraguay. DJO seems to have basically peaked with that one, though, so I'm glad to see BLR grab the ball.

"I encompass and I eclipse." Something so profound about that coming from a lineman.

if you only counted the chess players picking up and moving pieces around, chess games would only last like 3 minutes!

I'm hard of hearing and depend a lot on lip reading, so welcome to my life.

Ditto desjardins but hooray! they've provided excellent captions (unlike the normal crapalacious autogenerated ones on YouTube) so +1 from me.
