When I was in high school, one of my teachers had a calendar of cutesy dog photos combined with captions that were pretty much punchlines of tired jokes. In May, it was a photo of shih tzu wearing a pink bathing cap while climbing out of a picnic basket. It was really absurd. What made it even stranger was the caption: "How can I be overdrawn? I still have checks left."

Notice that the dog was not writing checks. It was climbing out of a basket while wearing a shower cap. I would ponder the absurdity of May's entry five times a week for forty-five minutes, getting stuck in a giggle loop at least twice a period.

These photos are connected to their captions only as well as that old calendar did it. And the visuals aren't as good. D plus.

There's a lot of confusing IR with contemporary global political issues. And cats.

The "Eventually" cat is one of the laziest-looking cats I've seen. It seems to be evolving toward a state of blob.

Some day, I hope, the internet will learn that simply captioning pictures of cats does not make for funny.

yeah, that eventually cat looks almost like a different species, a nonhousecat.

Please make the captions at the top or bottom of the pic, stop ruining the details of the funny cat pics.

Hmm. This would work better as a series of videos, perhaps edited in the style of a documentary.

Any idea where I can pick up a pallid bust of one of those?
