Do you support the WTO?

Do you support the WTO? No one protested the WTO 2001 Summit. Perhaps because you were too busy going to the bathroom 10 times a day. Don't miss the thousand names contest.

From their DYK: Female needs 3 times longer than males yet both toilet sizes are often same.

This is obviously very liberal-minded, if English-challenged, organization. I wish them luck.

"Female needs 3 times longer than males yet both toilet sizes are often same".

Does this mean the physical size of the porcelain utensil itself? Should women's toilets be three times the size of men's? I suggest that most women would fall in, and no woman would admit her ass spans three times the distance of a man's anyway.

10 times a day?? Holy crap. Wouldn't it be easier just to stay in there?

"Holy crap" indeed.

The best part is the About Us page -- ... founded by the Restroom Association of Singapore, Japan Toilet Association, Korea Clean Toilet Association, Taiwan Toilet Association and Vietnam Toilet Association.

Never knew so many associations, especially Asian associations, existed for the poop deck. Hee hee.

But there does seem to be a huge push (no pun intended) for bathroom recognition. Take a gander at The Golden Plunger: The World's Nicest Public Restrooms. I really want to visit the "Talking Toilet" located in San Francisco. It sounds dreamy.

I'm curious about the "religious and cultural toilet requirements" mentioned...

for those in the nyc area, this insider tour may be worth considering.

not only fun, but useful too. you never know when you'll find yourself far from the office with nature calling. if there's no starbucks around, you simply can't be sure of finding sanitary facilities.

also, the tour guide looks like someone thoroughly steeped in public restroom culture. i don't doubt his competence.

(cross posted to both recent toilet threads.
