Our house is more like the puppy Iliad.

In that our eldest, Nina, quite frequently takes this toy starfish (that I only just realized we have to name Hector) and carries it around the couch. Then she humps it. Then she casually and somehow spitefully discards it until such time as it needs more humping.

Sure, the Iliad doesn't specifically mention Achilles humping Hector's corpse after he towed it around the walls of Ilium. But you know he did.
