Microsoft's idea of DNA computing...

What a load of bullcrap. I really like their revisionist capitalization on "interNet". Just pulling hot biotech terms out their ass, ignoring their meanings, and reverse-engineering some lame acronameable techspeek. "Digital Nervous System"? Give me a break. "DNS" is already taken. I think they might be getting a little desperate.

We seem to have a severe shortage of TLA's. Perhaps Congress should add a few letters to the alphabet to expand the supply.

It's just a trademark. Sheesh. I haven't heard anyone at Microsoft claim this has anything to do with biocomputing.

Mainly, it's another attempt at a Hail Mary around the Java juggernaut.

I wouldn't be inclined to call Java a juggernaut, any more that I would have called Autocoder a Juggernaut in 1969. Now, COBOL... ah there is a juggernaut.

(oh, by the way... the above was just humor, not flame bait!)
