O Fortuna misheard lyrics.

"O Fortuna" is a poem written in Medieval Latin, so the lyrics are nearly incomprehensible for those that do not know the dead language. This animated video speculates what the poem would say if the lyrics were all in English.

My junior high choir teacher once gave us a song to work on in German - "Den Tod", which the sheet music translated as "O Death". Before too long we kids all came up with our own lyrics for it:

"Dead tooooooaaaaad,
Dead toooooooooaaaaaad,
Dead toad in the middle of the rooooooaaaaaaaaaaad..."

...We never got to perform it.
