But hilarious.

Aaron Paul: "She's not strapped... She's on TEE-VEE..."
Julia Louis-Dreyfuss: "Well, it's cable money, so..."
Bryan Cranston: "Tell me about it."

"You know what they say, 'Comedy is easy. Drama is hard.'"

Even if it is basically a car ad it's hilarious.

But as an ad for Monday's Emmy Awards (sponsored by Audi) the context is even funnier.

Don't worry I'm sure someone is writing a treatment right as we speak... coming soon to TLC/History/NatioGeo/MTV

Does this really count as a car ad? Nothing Audi was involved that I noticed.

This would be a nice direction for advertisement to take, though. Instead of trying to convince you to buy an Audi, it is simply very entertaining and at the end lets you know that Audi made it.

Julia's (Audi) car is seen throughout the video - but maybe it's like the gorilla on the basketball court. You don't see it until someone points it out.

Hey everybody, the billionaire energy mogul is joking about needing money while driving an Audi! Yeah that's hilarious or something.

I was hoping this would be dirty chess tactics I could learn.

Julia Louie-Dreyfus happens to be very dedicated to environmental causes, but fuck her for being born into her family I guess.

I'm finally catching up with Breaking Bad and think this was great. I didn't notice the Audi angle. Also, the last line slayed me.

That was a hell of a setup for the punchline.

trackofalljades: "Hey everybody, the billionaire energy mogul is joking about needing money while driving an Audi! Yeah that's hilarious or something."

I'm taking it from the sarcasm that you're saying that wasn't hilarious? Which, sure, but I don't think that "she needs money but is driving a nice car and comes from a rich family" was presented as one of the comedic parts in the first place. So, thing not intended to be part of a joke is not funny, and...?

May as well say "Hey, everybody, Bryan Cranston wore glasses! Yeah that's hilarious or something" or "Hey, everybody, the video started with music! Yeah that's hilarious or something."

This is such a weird thing to get bitter about. That said, I had forgotten that JL-D is set to inherit a b-b-b-illion dollars, which is mind-blowy.

If it was me I would be spending much less time making people laugh with my beloved sitcom characters and much more time orchestrating the murder of my father and siblings. But that's just me.

Uh, the video aside, I'm not sure starring in an automobile ad is the best way to show your dedication to environmental causes.
