Flight 404

Creative storytelling at Flight404.com. Visited this link a long time ago from the forever-in-hiatus K10K when it was a white splace page with a vector drawing of a plane, now it's a great online story.

[a small off-topic question]
Does anyone remember dreamless? Is there anything like it anymore? I miss all the late nights I spent at the place, and the people that posted there.

re off-topic: try yayhooray! ?

not quite the same of course, but there are some dreamless people there...

Fathom 5 has some good discussion boards. As far as I'm aware, some of the Dreamless crowd moved there.

I really miss the dear grey place too.

On-topic: it's been cool watching Flight 404 mature and change over the past year (I found it via PrayStation). The guy who makes it (can't remember his name) has an awesome head on his shoulders.

His name is Robert Hodgin. We intervewied it for you webzine, and he was kinda cynical in his answers =)

They have some serious problems over at k10k. I hope they get back soon.

dreamless.org was good too, but now it seems to be under the wing of the ever-cryptic and generally dull (compared to either k10k or dreamless) Praystation.

this Flight404 is pretty cool. looking at the passenger manifest, and clicking on the seats is pretty fun, especially the guy in 28D.

Seems kind of "inspired by" 253.

This was posted at MemePool quite some time back, and I haven't looked at it since then. Creepy, but some very nice animations. Anyone flying anytime soon (myself included) probably should hold off before exploring it too thoroughly.

This is cool from first skim. It'll take me hours to fully explore it. I wonder what would happen if I emailed a tip to their NTSB@ email address. Do they include tips in the storyline?

donuts, yeah 28D was cool. I remember staying in the complab after classes, looking at it, and feeling a shiver up my spine.

Thanks for the links, everyone.

more off-topic:

A lot of the former dreamless.org people can be found at newstoday - think of it as dreamless with a portal, only much more juvenile, whiny, and ego-centered.

Actually, forget that... there's alt.sense too, which is probably a better bet.

Wow. That is a great site.

Now I just have to wait for the next installment.

Thanks, Hobbes!
