I want to carry him along with me in a little basket and take him out at opportune moments.

Don't get me wrong, they are all wonderful, but really nothing tops that first one in the yellow jumpsuit. Perfection.

Poor dog. What a wonky eye.

Man, after looking at those, I'm so ashamed of myself. I have no idea what I even did wrong, but I sure feel bad about it.

If Gizmo is what I think he is--a Brussels Griffon x Chihuahua mix--does this make him a Bruhuahua?

haha the genetic abnormalities we bred into him make it look like he is grumpy!

One of my dogs is pretty dang good at side-eye, but not compared to this master. Figlet's is also less 'bitch please', and more 'you gonna do something? Try it.'

Fig: I have known many of the "you gonna try something...?" types. But by far the most expressive dog I ever met belonged to my brother-in-law. She was not only a master of the 'bitch please' stare, but also the headlong squint-eyed Clint Eastwood standoff, the 'I'ma make you, your family, and everyone they ever met pay for this' look (especially around Halloween when the costumes came out), and was, above all, extremely vocal about all of it. In spite of the often-menacing face, she was one of the sweetest, most loyal, least-actually-threatening dogs (as long as you're family) I've ever met. RIP Cinder. Hunden gǿr

Meet Stewie, whose default expression is "we are not amused." He also does a pretty good Obama impression.

This really seems like "Dog Owner Hopes To Monetize Grumpy-Looking Animal" so I vote we fill this thread with Metafilter's Own pissed off canines.

Half-breed bulldog, half-breed Shih Tzu,
This bull-shitzu knows jiu-jitsu.
