Samizdata don't emoj.
(Seriously. If I need some additional commentary, I type it out.)

That last tube station is bugging me. I went with Sloane Square, but I feel like there's a better pun/rebus/thingie eluding me.
For the back translations, I went with...
i) βBrexit means brexit.β [Theresa May]
π«πͺπΊ = π«πͺπΊ
ii) βIt is time that we snapped out of the collective whinge-o-rama.β [Boris Johnson]
ππ€πππ
iii) βItβs going to be Brexit plus, plus, plus.β [Donald J. Trump]
π¬π§π¨ βββ
iv) βMany people would like to see @Nigel_Farage represent Great Britain as their Ambassador to the United States. He would do a great job!" [Donald J. Trump]
πΈ π¬π§β‘οΈπΊπΈ βοΈβοΈβοΈ
v) βMy fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country.β [John F. Kennedy]
π«βπΊπΈπ βππΊπΈ
vi) βTo be, or not to be, that is the question: Whether 'tis Nobler in the mind to suffer The Slings and Arrows of outrageous Fortune, Or to take Arms against a Sea of troublesβ [From Hamlet by William Shakespeare]
πͺ or π€βπ= π or π‘
I'm mildly interested by the fact that I felt the need to translate "Brexit" differently depending on whether the speaker was British or American.

Emoji are used very differently depending on a person's culture. The ad didn't seem to be aware of this that I noticed.

rednikki, really? That was one of the things they were specifically screening for with the form. There was an essay question on it.
