Adam Evans, New Hampshire's Hillbilly Weatherman gives it to you straight, no expletives deleted. Current storm report. Semi-disjointed website with past reports. Randomly organized YouTube channel. Facebook page. Better chronological set of videos. Is he for real? View this profile, in which he tries out at his local TV station.

Oh my, that is hilarious. I want him reporting the weather in New Orleans when a hurricane is in the Gulf.

I'm from northern New Hampshire, and I concur that nobody from there has ever used the word "hillbilly" to describe themselves. We're just regular people. The rest of you folks are flatlanders.

It's Swamp Yankee if you've descended from a long line of same, no one moving more than 20 minutes from home, and you can count at least ten cousins in town.

I'm not sure I've ever heard a guy cussing like that--not naturally, but self-consciously and intentionally, like he's made a mental note to do so and wouldn't otherwise. I'm not an expert on accents but I know fake cussing when I hear it and that is some fake-ass cussing.

Down heah in Boston, as befits a more sophisticated viewership, we have the Weather Is Happening guy, who combines GeoCities design skills, interesting spelling and terminology and videos that look sort of like Max Headroom on LSD. The Facebook page is a bit calmer for folks who didn't like GeoCities the first time around.

I see an Adam Sandler film based on this guy. Or just his accent.

Al Kaprelian is the only eccentric weatherman from NH I will tolerate. When I saw Rocky Horror for the first time, he sat behind me.

Crazy Al has been scaring children for decades. He doesn't scare me, but his delivery does annoy me enough that I don't want to watch him.

You do not have "woodchucks" over in New Hampster? Look who is fancy!

OMG Marty on the Mountain! The grin that he gives the camera at the end of each report has haunted me for years.
