Adam Evans, New Hampshire's Hillbilly Weatherman gives it to you straight, no expletives deleted. Current storm report. Semi-disjointed website with past reports. Randomly organized YouTube channel. Facebook page. Better chronological set of videos. Is he for real? View this profile, in which he tries out at his local TV station.

Oh my, that is hilarious. I want him reporting the weather in New Orleans when a hurricane is in the Gulf.

Yeah we got more than one accent in the South too.

I'm from northern New Hampshire, and I concur that nobody from there has ever used the word "hillbilly" to describe themselves. We're just regular people. The rest of you folks are flatlanders.

It's Swamp Yankee if you've descended from a long line of same, no one moving more than 20 minutes from home, and you can count at least ten cousins in town.

I'm not sure I've ever heard a guy cussing like that--not naturally, but self-consciously and intentionally, like he's made a mental note to do so and wouldn't otherwise. I'm not an expert on accents but I know fake cussing when I hear it and that is some fake-ass cussing.

He didn't describe the meteorology for tomorrow's storm quite right. Two storms are not slamming together to form one big one. The primary storm moving up through the Great Lakes will die out and transfer its energy to the coast off of New Jersey, which is where the new storm will form and deepen as it moves north across eastern Massachusetts and then up into the Gulf of Maine. He was trying to describe the rain-snow line, and he did get the position of that line mostly correct, with coastal areas on the warm rainy side of the line and the inland areas on the colder snowier side. But I did like that reference about the Subaru drivers tooling around like they are more special than a bag of chips. That was funny.

Down heah in Boston, as befits a more sophisticated viewership, we have the Weather Is Happening guy, who combines GeoCities design skills, interesting spelling and terminology and videos that look sort of like Max Headroom on LSD. The Facebook page is a bit calmer for folks who didn't like GeoCities the first time around.

I see an Adam Sandler film based on this guy. Or just his accent.

Al Kaprelian is the only eccentric weatherman from NH I will tolerate. When I saw Rocky Horror for the first time, he sat behind me.

Crazy Al has been scaring children for decades. He doesn't scare me, but his delivery does annoy me enough that I don't want to watch him.

OMG Marty on the Mountain! The grin that he gives the camera at the end of each report has haunted me for years.
