Fingertip found in a Japanese Rice Ball. In other news, the feds are thinking about investigating rumors about dead bodies being stored inside the biggest ball of twine in Minnesota.
I cut off a slice of my thumb working in a kitchen in Detroit in 1990. Just a little sliver, but it was lost forever when I was slicing cucumbers without the chainmail glove.

Ripley's Believe It Or Not may have a pair of the biggest balls ever.
No bigger than kingmissile's, apparently.

Nowhere does it say in your latter link that feds are thinking of investigating rumours about dead bodies inside the biggest ball of twine in Minnesota...

Fujii apologized. "We'll make sure this sort of thing doesn't happen again," he said.
From now on, only fingerless employees.

Twine is so old school.... Rubber band balls are in, and destined to crush large buildings.

Anybody got a non-yahoo source for this? It's perfect for my site (Tastes Like Chicken), but I hate using yahoo these days, since they drop stories after a few weeks.

Sheesh, I've been wanting a gazebo in my backyard for years. Now even balls of twine have their own gazebos.

(I just hate using Yahoo since they changed to that moronic CMS that creates unpronounceable URLs -- in some cases I've been unable to get MeFi to parse them inside an HREF tag.)

It's not as big as the yarn ball out of Sam & Max Hit the Road. That game was soooo cool... *sigh*
