The Hounds of Hackney Downs is the latest work by the Hackney Mosaic Project, an east London community project. Instagram.

Their work has been regularly documented by Spitalfields Life: this post about a mosaic at Shepherdess Walk introduces some of the makers. This one shows their workshop. The Hoxton Varieties mosaic. The Queenhithe mosaic. The Garden of Hope. The Pavilion on Hackney Downs. London Zoo.

A couple of private commissions. Their etsy shop.

May it last as long as Pompeii's, and for reasons involving less pyroclastic flows.
