The Disney-like moment was captured on film. Photographer Dafna Ben Nun, 38, captured the incredible real life Disney moment whilst on a trip to Zimbabwe.
"It was just a split second, but it was fascinating to watch!"
She’s actually trying to wrest her baby from the grip of the All-Devouring Sun, who really likes eating babies of all primate species.

I'm also open to the possibility that the monkey simply held the baby like that to get a look at it's back.
I was thinking that the baby probably had a little turd stuck to its butt and the parent was just trying to get a better look at the situation to figure how best to resolve that issue

Obligatory link to the gif where the baboon holds up the lion cub for all to see and then chucks it off a cliff

I'm glad you posted that link, because someone had to. That's one that gets funnier every loop.

I love the animals cheering at the end. "Sic temper tyrannis! Long live the Animal Republic!"

The obligatory link to the complete version of the Lion King (because it's better with the bowing), and the credit to the creator.
