Excellent. Definitely a good name for a ship made to push through obstacles.

My late father sailed for the Canadian Coast Guard until he finally came ashore at 79 years of age after an injury, and even then, the Coast Guard asked him if he would take the CCGS Hudson out one more time once he recovered. He was also proud to be a feminist and would have crawled over broken glass to be the first in line to be the chief engineer of the Captain Molly Kool.

Thanks for this, mandolin conspiracy.

That's amazing, angiep. Thanks for sharing that story.

About 10 seconds after posting this, "That's Captain Kool, to you" popped into my head as the right title for the post. Dangit.

That's cool.

Sometimes captains are addressed as so-and-so, captain shipname, so someone gets to be called Captain Captain Molly Kool.

Speaking Captain Captain Molly Kool!

Here's Catherine Lacombe, Commanding Officer talking about it.
