Memories of Irish Birdsong "He must have thought I had looked at his sister funny, as he snarled “kerrx-kerrx” at me and started to fling his droppings. I was told afterwards that the whole family was mad. Brothers all musicians in America."
Flash fiction by Liam Heneghan in the Irish Times.

Who killed the 1970's Irish bird music scene?

Me. I did it.

Also, little known but untrue fact, English band Flock of Seagulls started out as a seagulls cover band but sold out and started playing New Wave.
