With 46,881 sketchbooks in the collection, the Brooklyn Art Library is one of the largest collections of sketchbooks in the world

The Digital Library is the virtual extension of the Brooklyn Art Library and contains 24,454 complete scanned contributions to The Sketchbook Project and counting.

162,081 creative people from all over the globe have participated in the Brooklyn Art Library projects.
