I've loved this campy show and movie ever since they first appeared, and the never missed opportunities to try to teach/preach through goody-two-shoe'dness such as lecturing Robin, talking tough with criminals, and dealing with women range from the classic: [more]

to funny as hell:

Batman: "Bartender, a bit of advice. Always inspect a jukebox carefully. These machines can be deadly."

to sometimes eerily relevant to current events:

Batman: "Planting a timebomb in a local library is a felony."

Media with a conscience and the ability to laugh at itself, or visionary gurus of ethics and morals? Either way I think these quotes are great.

-- batman as he ran around with a classic ball-bomb, meeting nuns, babies, and even a little family of ducks in all the possible palces to throw that bomb away. Stuck in my head like glue.

Great link, mikhail. I wish that I could make it through an entire episode of Batman without getting a near-fatal case of the cringes. This saves me the trouble.
