No, that that Octomom. This is a Radiolab episode that runs about 35 minutes about exactly what a deep sea octopus mother does to brood her eggs. It's an astonishing story that is moving and surprising. There's also a transcript.

I think they say at the beginning they saw the octopus moving toward the rock where she ends up brooding her eggs, so their time table is pretty good really.

As an aside: my ex-wife lives down the road from that Octomom, and my daughter goes to elementary school with the kids. They are finishing up 5th grade in a couple weeks.

But really, there's not much moving involved. It's a surprisingly stationary story.

orchestra is a beautiful metaphor for somatic brain region activity or whatever.
radiolab did a nice job here, production-wise, aurilization-wise, not too peter-and-the-wolfishly.
wouldn't mind seeing the metaphor explored more.
