Appears to be missing The Tearoom. Being a historical bathroom simulator the omission is a bit tragic.

The toilets in the new Animal Crossing, apart from being decorative furnishings, are actually functional! Normally, when you strike rocks, you get a resource like clay or iron from them, but if you eat a fruit and then strike a rock, you destroy it completely. So what if you've eaten some fruit, but you want resources from a rock without destroying it? Just sit on a toilet until all the fruit leaves your system.

Just what we need- more fecal fuckery from the toilet twins. I always liked the weird toilet tableus in Fallout 4, you never knew what you'd find if you opened a stall. Loot in the bowl? maybe! A bomb? also maybe!

This is frickin' delightful. I clicked for the deadpan toilet humor and golden showers jokes, but they genuinely proved their point about how spaces like this can either immerse a player or be immersion-breaking. I love it when my poo jokes come with game design lessons.

Do any of these public video game bathrooms have coat / purse hooks? Interacting with bathrooms in hard without those.

I don’t have a switch, so I got Animal Crossing:Pocket Camp (which looks great on iPad btw) and I won an outhouse in a fortune cookie. You can knock on the door, but that’s about it. I put a rain puddle by it so it looks like its leaking. I have the only actual bathroom I’ve seen so far, but hey, they’re animals, and it’s the woods sooo...everywhere is a toilet I guess. :/
(There was an article on polygon, apparently there’s a bit of backlash against Nintendo for all the features Pocket Camp has that New Horizons doesn’t...including all the cute goodies and the ability to curate which animals are at your camp and etc.)
