The original NYTimes link is here for those who can read it.

It seems like this should link to the instagram account the author started (https://www.instagram.com/womenstreetphotographers/) and the project website

I wish the original article linked to those things. I love this project, and I hate when news articles don't link to what they're covering. It's such a basic, easy thing to do, a way to give credit to the people doing the thing they deem newsworthy, just as when you're covering a restaurant, you include its address. Yet for various outdated reasons, such as avoiding seeming promotional, or not believing producing articles in a different way than in print matters online, so much traditional media doesn't do it. It's ridiculous.

That was careless of me not to include that link, sorry. It is, in fact, where I learned about the article.

archive.is isn’t resolving for me. Apparently archive.today might be the main domain now?

I'm guessing that the http://archive.is party is over, and ISPs are playing whack-a-mole as the site rotates through different domains. Archive.today resolved to https://archive.ph/iayrM on my end.

mecran01, no worries. The news article itself should have linked to them and didn't! My critique was of the newspaper article, not of this post, just to be clear.
