Why geckos stick. Some California scientists have finally figured out how gecko lizards can stick to almost any surface- their feet have lots of tiny hairs that use frickin' Van Der Waals forces. Whoa. Says one scientist: "I just saw the movie 'Spiderman' and I realized that some day we'll be able to do even better than he does sticking to things." Sounds like a project for the MIT Superman research labs. Here's the original paper.

On review, I'm glad you took steps, gsteff. But that doesn't change the fact that work must be done because you didn't read what others have written.
