Maybe it is! First there was Emmanuel being an absolute ham. But don't forget about Karen, the "killer" emu over at Useless Farms and her various attempts to deal with her caregiver, who plays the antics for laughs.

However, Karen's mate Stanely is simply adorable.

Useless Farm was the first TikTok ANYTHING that made me laugh for an hour straight. Karen is straight up evil - no idea how she catches her almost every. single. time.

I'm reminded of the movie Protocol, which features an emu costume (it is basically The Costume of Shame) and that is ALL I remember about the movie.

Karen makes me think that birds aren't that far removed from dinosaurs. She's like a velociraptor wearing a fancy feather boa.

Let's not forget Seanan McGuire's rescue emu Gus, who was an asshole. (Twitter link, no Threadreader version available)

I admire this woman's commitment to press-on nails in an agricultural context.

And she even has a full-time job too!
