Mike Salcedo decided to try and animate one thing a day. So he chose the alphabet. It got somewhat out of hand.

I got the tune "twinkle twinkle little star" stuck in my head after watching this, and it's 20 minutes later when I suddenly realize: wait a minute, that tune is also the alphabet song.

I enjoyed that capital letters begin life as lower case letters. Very clever animation.

You know how sometimes you watch a show, and you're like "wow, they had it all planned out, back in season one. All those callbacks". I felt like that, but simplified waaaaay way down (although 26 is definitely an ensemble cast).

Mozart wrote it into Theme and Variations, but contrary to myth, he isn't considered the original author.

(If you have children and want to show them something in which objects are literally composed of the letters that spell them, but is also a little more kid-friendly, there's always Word World).

Backstory and details. I've clearly missed a lot and should watch it again. For example, I didn't notice that the N acquires a tilde at some point.
