Skagway, Alaska's Mo Mountain Mutts (YT, IG, TikTok) is an unusual dog-walking service that employs a 14-passenger minibus to pick up its clients (YT mirror).

There are several services that do this where I live. But they let the dogs run on private land. The article makes clear that she will have up to 12 off-leash dogs with one or two persons in a city park. I live in the land of off-leash, but that is an excessively large pack running together under only vocal control in a public space that isn't a designated dog park.

My dog rides a bus to daycare too! I think it's a less cute bus than this, but the dogs are enclosed while they're being driven around which seems a lot safer to me. A lot of dogs get fairly anxious in the car and I'd be worried having them so close together with their supervision busy attending to the road.

So yeah, I share some safety concerns, but the pics are pretty cute. Hope it all works out for these good dogs.
