Once again, Comedy Central has locked me out, BUT it looks as if Comedy Central UK keeps their videos open to Canadians and maybe other international riffraff. This video isn't in their listing yet, but it might show up soon.

If YouTube were to have a thing I could click that listed all the regions a video is available in, I'd include that information in my posts. They don't, and I have no way to check until I get feedback like this.

There is a way to check, I know when I put in a video on cytube it gives me a list of every country it's blocked in, but I don't know how they determine what they are.

I'm glad Hasan Minaj is still going after Patriot Act, that show was quite underrated! Netflix seems to like to cancel things early (witness how they treated MST3K).

I've been watching all of the guest hosts of The Daily Show and I've liked most of them, but Hasan Minhaj really feels like he should be the permanent host. He's settled right into the role in like 3 days. (Close second: Sarah Silverman)

Silverman would never do it. The schedule is too intense. Minhaj has nearly been campaigning for the job, although it would be a very different TDS with him at the helm. Patriot Act was a great format for his intense energy and need for audience approval. I was sorry to see it go.

I'd be okay if they kept with the guest host format for a long while. Everyone seems to be having a good time so far.

Oh my god the freaking adorable kid in the brown shirt. What is he 7?? How does he know all this stuff?? How does he know that Elon Musk is losing money on Twitter and that their stock is down? How does he know that Biden is doing a good job but "maybe not as good as past presidents.". Are these things most 7 year olds know now?? Is it because the internet or like they're seeing it on TikTok? I did not know 1/16 of jack shit happening in the world when I was in elementary school. Anyway he should be the host of the Daily Show.

Nor did I, but it's a different world now. I suspect brown shirt kid overhears his parents talking about current events. Some parents do, some (like mine) don't; and some of their kids are listening.

Me too, and I'm not sure I'd put a lot of stock in that. I mean, they are just learning that the US has a president at that age, and definitely cannot compare them, except basically as parrots to what their parents say. Also the dig that Joe Biden has dimentia, when that kid did an amazing job of explaining why people with dimentia shouldn't hold political power? That was pretty cheap.
