Alternatively, you can click the "how to buy my book" link, and from there navigate to the Practical Typography table of contents, which has "Typography 2024: For America! For America's Best" down near the bottom.

I was hoping for more typography geekery. You're not going to clown on Mike Pence's vaguely-reminiscent-of-1983 logo? Why do I hate Asa Hutchinson's logo so much?

But mostly, maybe I'm unhappy that this page reminds me that even though the election is still seventeen months away, it's not that far from becoming the all-encompassing inescapable news story.

chavenet, you had the right link in the original post, it's just set to redirect to the page that asks you to buy the guy's book first - unless you have already seen the "how to buy my book" page, and then you get to skip the redirect.

He lost me at "[Cornel] West is a cool dude." Well, he really lost me when it redirected to "give me money", given that he's making critiques of people who are demanding that you give them money. Also: this was mostly kind of shite analysis: what good does naming the fonts do unless you're going to explain how and why they're good/bad choices?

Interesting choice of font, considering where else it's turned up. Looks like something you'd expect a candidate in 1976 to be using.
