Guy Montgomery's Guy Mont-Spelling Bee in unhinged, and it is loosely based on a spelling bee: each episode, four comedians participate in a series of rounds, where the goal is almost always to spell words or names in rounds that are "designed to be infuriating to take part in and entertaining to watch".

I could tell right away that I like the vibe! Are the episodes these clips are taken from available in the US anywhere? Their YouTube channel is empty and it's not showing up elsewhere from a casual search.

I love this show!!!! To get full episodes in the US it helps to be on the right Discords but they aren't too hard to find. As always, seek out the ones with David Correos.

Most of the same comedians (including Guy) are also available in various seasons of NZ's Taskmaster

My wife and I just started watching this show after watching all four seasons of Taskmaster NZ. The round where Mel Bracewood had to stick her hand in the box and spelled taxidermy chicken killed me!

And the ones who aren't probably will be!

I was confused by this because I'd got Guy Montgomery crossed up in my head with Guy Williams, and I couldn't understand why the host was either behind a contestant's podium or altogether missing.

One thing I did learn from this spelling bee is that Guy Williams is quite tall.

Love this programme—I discovered it, I think, on reddit's r/panelshow. The budget seems to be minuscule, and I didn't know any of the cast, but it's so funny. A couple of months later, I saw a couple of the panelists on Creamerie, which was excellent. Hoping for new series of both shows.

I know guy montgomery from the worst idea of all time, a podcast where him and tim blatt watch the same movie weekly for an entire year.

It looks like some of the original zoom versions of guy montspelling bee are on youtube.
