Come to see Brian May's kitchen, stay for the lovely conversation!

I'm really not quite sure who Rosie Bennet is, but somehow she ended up sitting in Brian May's kitchen talking about all kinds of things. From fame to his astrophysics degree to AI and even a bit of music! It's a lovely gentle-voiced conversation that is one of the best musician interviews I've encountered lately! and perhaps incongruously (ie: in spite of the idiotic British class system), his best friend (in music anyway) seems to be Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath.

his best friend

Was written by Deacon, not by May, but You're My Best Friend.

Great interview — right up front, I had to clip this little snippet on A.I. dredging

See also his extended Rick Beato interview. He got a lot of flak for playing on the roof of Buckingham Palace for the golden Jubilee. I don't give a crap if he did or not, he's as decent and humble a man as ever bit a sandwich in my eyes.

I think he's a groovy astronomer.

But hey, if I'm allowed be snippy, I think him & Taylor shoulda let the Baron make that outrageous! hilarious! gay-druggy! Freddie movie, instead of that fucking boring-money-making crap that they did. (I'm just assuming Deacon didn't push an opinion?)
