Hotel Fred's back - but Luna's not well.

Roger Langridge's wonderful Hotel Fred diary strips have been away for a few weeks while he got on with other projects. A new sequence of ten strips appeared this week about the recent illness of Luna, his family's much-loved dog. I think you'll like them.

Spoiler: Luna comes through it OK. Phew!

Terrifying, but very happy for Luna, and very nice strip!
But suggest folks don't read right now if they recently lost one. : /

Our dog did similar last summer, gulping down pizza dough as my husband chased him around the yard. Fortunately we got him to the ER quickly and he barfed it up obligingly, with only a little drunkenness left from the yeast.

A few weeks later he was back to puke up a Lego brick. This time his stomach contents were offered back to me in a baggy (no thank you.)

Dogs are the bestworst.

My dog’s 10 months old and we’ve already done the emergency meds-to-vomit run as he ate a hearing aid which had a battery. It came out in two pieces.

Believe it or not, the warranty on the hearing aid covered replacement.

I’m so glad Luna came through.

Good for Luna...

One of our dogs was sick last week. Had to go to the ER. (6K ouch), and just ate the tennis ball cover of the squeaky toy that our neighbor dog gave us, So we will see how that works out.

Don't care. Dogs are the best, even this criminal dog... (she has pilfered two of my bits of steak, and my brisket in the past week. She doesn't respect boundaries it seems).
