Kinky Friedman song with real heart covered well by Lee Roy Parnell
YMMV of course on "real heart" and/or "covered well" but I loved this cover the first time I heard it and I still do. As far as TAGS go, I'd never call this country, nor folk; americana comes closest I think.

Wonderful stuff. I like a lot of Kinky Friedman, but that is one of his most elegant lyrics.
