Outdoor Sculptures from Australia. This is a great collection of evocative outdoor sculptures from Australia. The setting is not bad, too. Outdoor art is very well supported in my city (sorry- no images). Is it a big deal where you live?

Only if it is a sculpture of some long-dead Southern Civil War hero. We have a road here in Richmond, VA called Monument Avenue that has huge sculptures of Robert E. Lee, Jeb Stuart, etc. And one of Arthur Ashe that every closet and out redneck in the town screamed about when it went up.

Minneapolis is actually quite progressive with its sculpture garden, which is part of the Walker Art Center. Claes Oldenburg (one of my faves) is well represented.&
