Remember, most of these are either sponsorships or businesses in their own right, some of them with "brand extension". Miss Universe alone is responsible for the Miss Universe, Miss USA and Miss Teen USA awards. (It's also a Donald Trump and NBC partnership ... telling you that this one is about ratings.)
