St Urho's day is a lesser known festivity. Its roots are in fabricated legends invented by the Finnish immigrants in the 1950's, and it is conveniently celebrated a day before Paddy. Gives a good excuse to drink two days in a row.

St. Patrick didn't really chase the snakes out of Ireland. He just sobered up and they were gone.
