I can't find Keith Richards anywhere on this list... he should be on here at least twice.

The one and only Dead Rock Stars Club. This site, while nothing really to look at, does represent one hell of an effort. Only on the web.

1980, as it happens, was a particularly bad year, taking Ian Curtis, John Bonham, John Lennon, Bon Scott and Peter Sellers.

i have all of peter sellers albums in pristine vinyl, as well as a large collection of 45's of his greatest hits. that was a dark day for the music industry when he was brutally murdered by the pink panther.

Quonsar. Agreed. But we will always have that '68 comeback tour to remember him by. Who could forget that black leather jumpsuit?

Nathaniel "Buster" Wilson - Died 4-?-1980 - Shot and dismembered, his body dumped near the Hoover Dam and in a canyon ( Rock ) Was a member of The Coasters (They did,"Charlie Brown", "Yakety Yak" and "Along Came Jones") - Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Inductee .

Gangsta rap killings are nothing new. Rock and roll is a vicious game, apparently.

So much information (of people I've never heard of) on that site, yet so difficult to look at.

The little spinnning "new" logos are particularly gruesome... "Dude! Look who's dead!"

Kaibutsu, death, apparently, be not proud!

i love sites like this - the meticulous and voluminous output of indeterable obsession.

This stretches the definition of both rock (Stephen Foster? Art Tatum?) and star (Stuart Sutcliffe?) to the breaking point.

Would be a lot more fun to sort them by cause of death.

PST, what is the Snakefinger test? Why is it of significance. I'm old enough to have been extremely aware of 'the rock scene' from the late '60s through the early '80s and I've never heard of him/them.

Witty, this site does that.
