*sigh* people today. How hard is it to mix gasoline and styrofoam yourself?

The real trick is to put the right proportion of white phosphorous in there so you get spontaneous combustion on contact with the air.

If you add soap shavings it binds together better. :)

According to this recipe, its 46% polystyrene, 33% gasoline, and 21% benzene. (The name comes from naphthene and palmitate, the original ingredients developed at Harvard.)

Damn, it's really disturbing to me that it took me a while to realize that this was a gag. This means that for a few minutes I actually believed people were legally selling napalm on the internet.....

Too bad the name of the "band" that does their theme song is already taken by a much, much, MUCH cooler group of musicians (Tapeworm = Trent Reznor, Maynard James Keenan, Danny Lohner, Charlie Clouser, Phil Anselmo, Page Hamilton ...)

yeah okay so it's the first instance of VaporBand I've ever heard of... but I can dream.. *sigh*..

Really though, that site wasn't all that funny. I've seen much funnier obvious-fake-sites such as Bonsai Kitten, and also my own (admitted self link but it's not on a fpp and I'm telling you flat out) - BabySmasher Industries...

I don't see why you shouldn't be able to sell the stuff. Well, maybe not benzene (which is a nasty carcinogen), but petrol, polystyrene and even thermite should be fine to ship and sell. Though you might have a hard time getting it onto a plane...

I seem to remember something about mixing gasoline with orange juice concentrate.

Dawn and diesel is a good approximation. Olive oil works as a stabilizer and thickener. Why buy when it's cheaper to mix it in your laundry tub?

Thermite: rust + aluminum fillings. Light with a birthday sparkler. Makes a good igniter for your basic diesel/amonium nitrate/aluminum slurries.
