Vote Experimental!

Vote the Experimental Party! America's latest political party. "We must work to incorporate the avant-garde and the spirit of experimentalism into the fabric of our nation. The history of our next hundred years must emerge from the rich mosaic of alternative culture, from the lofts of San Francisco to the barrios of New York City." One mad artist with unfortunate facial hair and a Tom Paine fetish. God love ALL the kooks.

experimentalism in the lofts of san francisco?

not likely.

unless, maybe, one were to feature "experimentalism" in one of those fancy lifestyle catalogs.

or if herman miller sold it.

as a sub-note, and so i don't just come off as a snarky "CLASS WAR NOW!" one note hero, i took an art course at one point from Randall Packer -- who appears to be rather involved with this website -- at U.C. Berkeley regarding (what else?) "Art & Technology".

I believe it was a sort of seminar, and was actually rather enjoyable, because there was a huge mix of majors involved, which often made for interesting dialogue. Also i believed i was first introduced to Kac's "GFP Bunny" during this course (and later got to see a bunch of hippies yell largely irrevelant comments at him during a lecture he gave).

anyway, good times.

thanks for the link. i'll have to look through this a little more.

hey, I love artists. my girlfriend is an amazing artist. I could probably be a decent one myself if I gave it a little more effort.

but this, this can only end badly.
