The laser pointer cat toy does work. My cats go crazy when I even pick the pointer off the table. Cats normally have attention deficit disorder when it comes to their toys, but not with this thing. Trouble is I get bored having to operate it because the cats never tire of chasing it.

I think I'll patent a device that does that work for me.
