I'm surprised he didn't find some spelling mistakes to mock. That would match the caliber of the other criticism. posted by smackfu at 8:13 PM on June 24, 2003
An issue page devoted to the environment is hilariously skimpy, containing only a sentence-long description of Bush's "clear skies" proposal. If you click for more detail on "improved air quality" you get a page that refers to some additional environment policies concerning air quality and some (say, cleanup of industrial sites) that have nothing at all to do with air quality. Whatever.
An unfinished website does not contain all the content it will have when it goes live. Whatever.
I'm sure everyone here who has designed a website has had all of the content included at every stage. Whatever. posted by pardonyou? at 8:13 PM on June 24, 2003
content included at every stage.
fortunately for pardonyou?... he's not in charge of the content for the environment tab for bush's 2004 website.
perhaps being a good sport he'd give us some idea what they will actually fill that now laughable area with? posted by specialk420 at 8:23 PM on June 24, 2003

O' Defenders of All Things Duhbya
What will you have to say
When our children's future
Is nothing but Hell to pay
Will you wax eloquently
About the cowboy Prince
When the air is putrid around you
Filled with industrial stench?
O' Defenders of All Things Duhbya
What will you have to say
When our brave young soldiers
Are dying a dozen a day
Will you say he's a well hung brave aviator
Landing on massive ships
Or recognize the unelected fraud
Has an intellect on the level of cow chips? posted by nofundy at 4:59 AM on June 25, 2003

I have no idea, and I'll probably disagree with almost everything that eventually gets put on that page anyway. My point was just that the column is petty. It tries to make us believe it pulled off some big investigative coup, when we all know that unfinished websites generally aren't complete (by definition).
And nofundy, who are the "defenders of all things duhbya" to which you refer? Because I'm certainly not. I didn't vote for him in '00, won't in '04. That doesn't mean every lame ass thing that gets posted about him is worthwhile. posted by pardonyou? at 6:04 AM on June 25, 2003
