The Map Room

Finally... something good has come from a newsfilter post! In a trackback to a recent post on something-or-other (aren't they all the same?) I discovered a gem of a site dedicated to maps.
I suppose I'd best get the good dishes out if you're all coming to visit.

I'd just get the IKEA set out for now... I have an uncanny ability of causing people to loose interest in even the most interesting links.

Very Cool. I liked it so much that I clicked on every Google AdSense Ad - there ya go, micropayment-by-proxy ;)

Oh...I like this site!
Mcwetboy...don't know if you have linked here yet, but it's a great place to create and print topo maps down to 1:25,000 scale. I have used it extensively for teaching map reading and orienteering to my cub scout den. Like vito90, I sense my productivity declining rapidly today.

As a former Rand McNally employee, I found his site a nice trip off the beaten path. Great stuff.
