I love how some flash artists get very good at doing smooth motion like that, taking advantage of the medium I suppose.

I just wonder why it took someone else to write the screenplay :) *shrug*

I think the credits were longer than the flick.

yeah, I would have preferred a warning that the payoff was a fart joke so that I knew not to waste my time...

Wow. I thought that was going to be really profound, and then... fart. What a waste of talent.

Some people just don't appreciate immaturity, I guess.

Amazing flash, but I guess in the absence of a good story, there's always the fart joke for the big payoff.

Perhaps this group's next flash piece will meld a mind-boggling array of 3-D graphics to depict horses in full stride in an almost poetic display of illustration...and then someone will get hit in the groin by a flying object.

It reminded me of "touch the drip".

it wasn't the fart joke that made me think it was silly, just the way the monkeys were trying to get the thing and couldn't get it. i mean, there's no substance to it, you know what i mean? they try different methods and then one of them finds a method which works and gets what he wants. but people do that anyway, not just monkeys, we already know how to do that, so what are the people who made it trying to say?

Also, aren't monkeys pretty good at climbing trees?

fart. in a jar.

mokey, why are you so upset about the monkeys? too many jokes about an infinite number of mokeys and an infinite number of typewriters? and what's this about you making up nicknames 'at random'? hmmm.

Since when do apes chase squirrels?

And I certainly wouldn't consume something that had just been overcome by toxic gas.

Apparently Warner Brothers, with well over half a century of physical comedy cartoons behind them, had it all wrong.

I had no idea that there were so many high-brows around here. Nor, did I realize that anyone's time was remotely valuable. Sincere apologies to all those with wadded panties.

Wow, that may be the most offensive comment I've ever seen on Metafilter.

Well, we are on MetaFilter, aren't we? Game, set, match to Crunchy.

Surely you jest.

Especially since he's right. Oh sweet jesus preserve us, a stupid joke that consumed maybe, maybe five minutes of your life including loading screen. The horror... the horror..!

Perhaps this group's next flash piece will meld a mind-boggling array of 3-D graphics to depict horses in full stride in an almost poetic display of illustration...and then someone will get hit in the groin by a flying object.

That would be so awesome.

Anyways. Astonishingly good flash animation, I hadn't really been aware it was capable of motion that looked that natural.

Considering the fact that what I wrote was apolitical, had nothing to do with being fat or driving an SUV, I should probably take that as some sort of amazing badge of honor.

I've seen young gorillas doing just that at the National Zoo in DC. Almost got the bugger, too. I'm not sure what they would've done if they'd gotten it, though I imagine it wouldn't have been pretty.
