Wow, Crash, great find. Thanks for posting it.
BTW, be sure to read this page, which shows that this page is much more serious than it might appear to be at first glance. posted by anastasiav at 1:00 PM on October 2, 2003

cute...and the deception article is really good. (it is odd that peter jennings never looks 65--i thought it was surgery) posted by amberglow at 1:07 PM on October 2, 2003
Never has so much photoshop been applied to so many cultural icons by someone with so much time on his hands... (Larry must have a second job to support his brother)
And in the Taxi-Larry picture, in thumbnail, I couldn't tell if he was replacing Andy Kaufman, Judd Hirsch or Danny DeVito... posted by wendell at 1:20 PM on October 2, 2003
I honestly think Larry has a good future in commercials, if he wants one. Ad agencies are always on the lookout for "average looking" guys (and women) who can also look different for each ad they do (so you don't say "Hey! Its the fruit of the loom guy!" while watching a Mazada ad). posted by anastasiav at 1:24 PM on October 2, 2003

It seems to be the work of a bunch of different people - there are "by" credits at the bottom of each image.
maybe i've just seen too many fark photoshop contests, which 99% of usually involve pasting some ugly head on a semi-famous image...
or, maybe he just resembles this bastard (the asshat that introduced many of us to the goatse man).
either way, i'm kinda... meh. posted by bhayes82 at 2:59 PM on October 2, 2003
on second thought, some people have put forth some effort to match the style of the original, so i give 'em credit for that.
but he still looks like stile! posted by bhayes82 at 3:05 PM on October 2, 2003

Scroll to the bottom of this page for an explanation. Basically it started as a joke on Bruce's website, got linked around, and then hit the "big time" as a Fark photoshop. Then it got its own domain, and even managed to get an NPR plug.
Which is a longwinded way of explaining why many images look "farky". posted by O9scar at 9:17 AM on October 3, 2003
