I'm so sorry... posted by wendell at 8:29 AM on December 16, 2003
I've been playing this about a week now, its so addictive. The soccer mode primarily is my timewaster. My only problems is that its crowded a lot of the time, and occasionally you will hit large amounts of lag (maybe a two minute pause while before anything happens). Its a lot of fun though.
Oh, and with any free online game, 99% of the people there are underage kids trying to verbally assault you and your sexuality, as sklero noted. posted by Darke at 8:32 AM on December 16, 2003

Anybody get what you're supposed to do on the intro page (you know, the one with the yellow planet and stars)? posted by LittleMissCranky at 10:47 AM on December 16, 2003
Anybody get what you're supposed to do on the intro page (you know, the one with the yellow planet and stars)?
If you move your mouse, you can change the direction of the planet. Click and pop the red bubbles to get points. If they pop on their own, then you lose a life. My highest score was 17. posted by JakeEXTREME at 10:54 AM on December 16, 2003
Darke: Globulos is extremely good, but they could take a few lessons in organisation from the Internet Go Server. I may be wrong, but I think much of the delay isn't Net lag, but down to the system letting a user set up a game, then hog it by refusing to start play until the right opponent comes along. No doubt they'll run into all the same problems as IGS, such as 'escapers'. posted by raygirvan at 11:14 AM on December 16, 2003
Jake - I didn't notice that game, quite fun. I got 19. posted by Orange Goblin at 11:22 AM on December 16, 2003
It doesn't get harder. I lost four lives before 300, and then started focusing, and didn't lose another life. posted by Ptrin at 12:59 PM on December 16, 2003
Resonance, where did you find this? Great post. posted by eddydamascene at 3:23 PM on December 16, 2003
raygirvan, I wasn't refering to that, although they should do something to make game creation easier.
I was referring to the game just basicly pausing halfway through a match. Its happened to me a few times, along with other people a lot. (I know its not lag in the true defination, but I'm lazy when I right =p) posted by Darke at 7:46 PM on December 16, 2003
