Aviation Explorer "Your online source for aviation information and media...aviation web resources for pilots and flight enthusiasts." I'm neither a pilot nor a flight enthusiast, but still found this site interesting (especially the accidents section, which reminded me of this previous thread on cockpit voice recorders).

If anyone is really interested in airports, goto Landings.com - you can look up the physical data on a lot of airports and plot flight info - such as weather, elevation changes, and it will plot a map. Very cool. And see this AskMe Thread.

It is a pretty cool site, a little slow but its got alot of content. I will definitely be checking back in on it from home when I can surf at leisure.

Here is where all aviation accidents are recorded. As I pilot, I find reading about other peoples mistakes very useful and slightly entertaining.
