I've bought and framed some fruit labels from paperstuff. Very nice guy, amazing selection. And the art is often beautiful. They're like vintage posters only smaller and 1/100 the cost. posted by Nelson at 2:18 PM on April 3, 2004
one of the last bastions of good -- I mean really good -- design in america, sadly departed once the methods of produce packing changed.
we've gotten all ours from paul jarmusz who is an great and interesting guy, and a collector as well as a vendor. posted by dorian at 5:44 PM on April 3, 2004

nice find hama7.
from an inside source in the shipping industry - the days of fruit and vegetable labels are over - as much as the growers love to see their names on the boxes, reusable packaging systems will seal their fate - and thus make these more valuable? posted by specialk420 at 7:22 PM on April 3, 2004
