It gets real hard real quick.
I got to 120 after about 10 tries, but that was pretty much dumb luck. posted by chicobangs at 9:49 AM on July 19, 2004
130 first try. I'm gonna move on. Would have liked to have seen some instructions somewhere. That was the hardest part of the game, really - figuring out how to play. posted by ashbury at 9:53 AM on July 19, 2004
Feels a lot like driving in mad traffic. My 125 points may have more to do with the fact that I live in London than with finger dexterity... Mefites living in Rome or Paris (or any other city renowned for its "thrilling" traffic) will have a massive advantage... posted by blogenstock at 9:56 AM on July 19, 2004
They should really tighten up their pixel maps a bit. You only need to be NEAR an object to make contact with it. This is totally unintuitive visually and always leads to collecting a square and getting hit by the little circles well before you expect that you should. posted by nasim at 9:58 AM on July 19, 2004
I've noticed it's much easier for me to just follow my instincts. The less I stop to evaluate the position of the the blue dots, the better I do.

Remember, there are no dots. posted by Jase_B at 10:33 AM on July 19, 2004
Okay, so how do you play? And what the hell is the square good for? posted by ahimsakid at 12:28 PM on July 19, 2004
square is good for getting. avoid the balls/dots.
145 high score, and I'm done with it.
First game, I went for the ball and died.
oh, and satapher, the points increase by 5. posted by Busithoth at 12:31 PM on July 19, 2004
185!
But then again, maybe it's considered cheating if your flash player is messed up and the game plays at about 1/3rd of the normal speed. posted by scottq at 12:37 PM on July 19, 2004
250, with slowdown after 150 or so due to my old computer. posted by donth at 12:40 PM on July 19, 2004
SolarWolf has similar gameplay, but is otherwise far more entertaining than this could ever hope to be. (Not flash, but it is cross-platform.) posted by Galvatron at 12:54 PM on July 19, 2004
But N isn't flash is it? posted by freebird at 2:20 PM on July 19, 2004
best Flash game ever
It is a nice one isn't it? My pathetic ActionScript skills are made pathetically pathetic, as it were, in contrast.
But N isn't flash is it?

So, is there any way to scrape flash games and play them when you're offline? posted by mecran01 at 6:06 PM on July 19, 2004
here, right-click on this and download it. once it's on your desktop, you should be able to double-click on it and play it by itself. if that doesn't work, open a browser window and drag the swf file into the window. posted by GeekAnimator at 6:13 PM on July 19, 2004
