I've asked, "What is it about cocaine that makes it so wonderful?" And they say, "Well, it intensifies your personality."

Yes. But what if you're an asshole?

That's good. Usually I think, "Man, I could go for about four times more."

There's a PepsiBlue pun in here somewhere, but given the fact that my darling goddaughter appears to have given me cholera, I'm not up to it.

Anybody? Bueller?

It yields four times more coke, not coke that's four times more powerful. It will still get stepped on plenty before it reaches your nostrils (or anus if you're that type).

Anyone here tried cocaine? I haven't, just wondering.

While I'm sure many people here have used cocaine, I'm not sure as many will be happy to admit to it on Metafilter. If it's information on the drug you are looking for, look no further than erowid.org.

I've tried cocaine. Why would we not admit to this on MetaFilter?

However, there are lots of memoirs out there about being addicted to cocaine--the late great Julia Phillips and the still-with-us Jerry Stahl are just two of the people who have written about it in detail.

I will make a deal to my columbian partners for transport for $50,000 per shipment, guaranteed. Mefites will get 20 percent off.

It yields four times more coke, not coke that's four times more powerful.

According to the article:

A toxicologist, Camilo Uribe, who studied the coca, said: "The quality and percentage of hydrochloride from each leaf is much better, between 97 and 98 per cent. A normal plant does not get more than 25 per cent, meaning that more drugs and of a higher purity can be extracted."

So nearly four times as powerful.

First a full-on submarine for smuggling, now this. Yet another example of free markets and unfettered capitalism driving innovation.
