Some people use an attachment for their cellphone that allows them to not have the phone near their head. It makes them look like their talking to themselves. "Just tell him no! No! Do we need stamps?"

I dunno, I personally have no problem wearing my pager, cell phone, and Visor on belt every day. (They all come off after work, though...unless I leave the house, then I take the phone and Visor). Not quite the same as what this guy's talking about, but close.
