A Clown Ministry Christmas. With the ever-present crush of Yuletide commercialism, perhaps this can help you remember that Jesus is the reason for the season. More generalized Clown Ministry skits can be found here.

A clown ministry. I can't really get beyond those words without laughing.
But maybe that's the point...

If clowns weren't scary enough, now I have to picture a baby clown being birthed.

Clowns make me piss my pants

You know, I've always thought that the "clowns are scary" thing is sort of bullshit. I don't think that many people are actually scared of clowns, it's just become a knee-jerk "funny" thing to say (...to avoid a nuanced and mature discussion of clowns?)

That being said, I find things like "1 speaking clown, carving a pumpkin to illustrate the gospel" and "A retelling of the parable of the Good Samaritan, set in the old west, for 4 speaking clowns" scary, but in a very different way.

Hasn't monotheism caused enough problems in the world recently. Let's get the Christ out of Christmas.

Before getting into a lengthy discussion on the history of Christmas, please see last week's thread on a similar topic here.

Miko, I think you meant here.
(Watch out for that server directive in the link dialogue.)

And well, gee, since I'm here I might as well post this xmas link again.
